This educational webinar will explore the role of the sympathetic nervous system in trauma-related disorders and the mechanism of action behind SGB.

Participants will review the current evidence supporting SGB, discuss patient selection considerations, and examine how this procedure can be integrated into a comprehensive treatment plan for first responders.

Through case examples and clinical insights, attendees will gain a practical understanding of how SGB may help reduce symptoms and improve functioning in individuals experiencing trauma-related distress.

This course is being offered free of charge to a limited number of clinicians through the 100 Club of Illinois. The intent of this offering is to support the continued development of cultural competency for clinicians working with first responders, strengthening understanding of the unique operational stressors, values, and realities that shape frontline service.
