“Kenneth Thurman married Teri in 1997 and over the next 24 years, raised eleven kids. He was, without a doubt, the best husband and the best dad. Ken had the biggest and kindest heart, and he had the most infectious smile. His fun nature made the Thurman home constantly filled with loud laughter and great happiness. His children were the light of his life, and he spent every moment of his free time with his family. Whether he was at soccer or softball practices and games, camping in the backyard, weekend canoeing with the kids, playing Xbox with the kids, binge watching Korean shows with Teri, working with the kids on his koi pond, playing board games or card games, enjoying a movie on family movie night, or saying the family rosary, he loved being with his family. Ken never missed the opportunity to chill with his dogs, Ash and Silky. Thurman was a super great handyman, and he could fix anything, he could build anything, and he was always working on projects in the home.”

Ken was an adventurer at heart and had a passion for motorcycles, off-road trail riding, and motorcycle tours. He especially cherished his yearly motorcycle trips to Tennessee with his army buddies. Thurman shared his passion for adventure-riding with his kids and took every opportunity to teach them how to ride motorcycles and take them to the trails.
He is survived by his wife and 11 children.
