On Tuesday, October 20, 2020, Cook County Sheriff’s Department Officer Richard Santiago passed away due to complications from COVID-19.

He is survived by his fiancé and son. 

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Santiago family and the Cook County Sheriff’s Department.
