“It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since we lost you. Several of us went out to DC for Police Week and saw your name on the wall. The first time I saw your name on the wall, it got to me. We have been doing our best to take care of your girls- I know you are proud of them. They are straight up rockstars and some of the strongest women I have ever known. You are not forgotten and we continue to honor your memory. We miss you brother” (May 2022).
