Dan Capuano, 42, was battling a warehouse fire on 92nd and Baltimore when he fell through an elevator shaft.

Firefighter Capuano had served with the Chicago Fire Department for 15 years and the Evergreen Park Fire Department before then. He is survived by his wife and children.
