2026 family Day
SEPTEMBER 13 – Brookfield Zoo │ Brookfield, IL
Join the 100 Club of Illinois as we come together to honor our fallen heroes and celebrate the strength and resilience of their families. This special family event is open to all 100 Club families of fallen heroes and is designed as a day of remembrance, connection, and community.
Families will enjoy a meaningful and fun-filled day featuring:
- Registration begins at 9:30 AM
- Hero Walk at 11:15 AM
- Games & Activities
- Food & Drinks
- Access to the Brookfield Zoo
- and more!
This is a free event, but registration is required.
We look forward to spending the day together as we honor those who made our state safer and support the families who carry on their legacy!
This year at our check-in tables we will have ornaments for children and families to decorate to hang up on our tree at Brookfield Zoo this coming winter!
If you’d like to participate, you are welcome to bring a photo or your own materials to add to your ornament. Please note that these are displayed publicly and not monitored while on display and will need to withstand the winter elements.
We will also have a table dedicated for families to share upcoming or previous memorial events, fundraisers, etc. that honor your heroes to give others the opportunity to support those efforts or to learn more about how they can create their own! Please feel free to bring flyers, posters, or frames with those to share!
