The Naperville Police is comprised of 270 agency members, with 34 peer support members, serving law enforcement officers, corrections, dispatchers, and department support staff. Their Peer Support program originated in 2017. Members are trained through peer support curriculums with Crisis Associates and We Never Walk Alone, and peer support members are to attend internal peer support meetings and local training opportunities.
Aside from peer support, other wellness programs that the department offers includes EAP, an in-house chaplain, an in-house clinician, wellness spaces, and family programming.
