The DuPage County IMAT Peer Support Team is comprised of 30 peer support members both sworn of various ranks as well as non-sworn personnel. The team collectively as a group has a great deal of professional and life experience. Their Peer Support program originated in 2025. Members are trained through 40 hour peer support curriculums.
Aside from peer support, other wellness programs that the department offers includes an in-house chaplain and Therapy K9. The peer support coordinator is available for program development or implementation collaboration.
