Nervous System Reset: Cultural Competency and Stress Regulation for First Responders

Bonnie A. Eckman, OTA | Sensory Specialist, After Action

Friday, March 27 | 12:00-1:00 PM CST

The 100 Club of Illinois offers online quarterly trainings to clinical professionals who serve first responders.

Participants will deepen their understanding of nervous system responses to chronic stress and cumulative trauma, examine how first responder culture can create barriers to stress recognition and recovery, and learn practical nervous system regulation strategies that can be applied before, during, and after high-stress events in an operational and off-duty setting.

This training is being offered free of cost for clinicians of the first responder community. Please complete the application online to be considered for a seat in the class by clicking ‘Register Here’. Space is limited. We will do our best to accommodate as many applicants as possible.

This is a free training, but registration is required and seats are limited.
