The 100 Club course introduces fire service personnel to practical, evidence-based concepts of wellness, trauma awareness, and resilience with an emphasis on firefighter safety, personal well-being, and effective community engagement. Aligned with IFSI curriculum standards, the course examines the physiological and psychological impacts of acute and cumulative stress, identifies indicators of trauma and burnout, and applies trauma-informed principles to crisis response and community risk reduction activities. Through discussion, scenario-based learning, and skills practice, participants will develop communication strategies, personal resilience techniques, and an understanding of peer support and referral pathways. The course reinforces wellness as a core risk-reduction strategy for both responders and the communities they serve.
